Connecting an Analog (PC) Joystick to your Amiga
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Ever wanted to attach an PC-Joystick to your beloved Amiga ??
Well, the Analog_Joy.IFF tells you how to do it...
The design wasn't mine but I think other people need to be able to
use it aswell... (I don't know who designed the original)
The optional diagram makes the X- and Y- movement more sensitive,
might be usefull for less sensitive joysticks...
Parts:
1x DB9 Female
1x DB15 Female (unless you replace the DB15 Male with an DB9 Female)
Optional parts:
C1 and C2 should be app. .1uF
If you plan to use elec.capacitors, please make sure the '+' of C1 is
connected to pin 3 and the '+' of C2 to pin 6 of the analog joystick.
Be carefull... and enjoy...
